So basically the internet I am able to currently access in my apartment is complex is rubbish. I signed a 12 month contract with the provider and had it broken after 3 weeks without charge. It was simply that bad!

So basically this is the deal: I am currently on a RIM and can pay $300 to get off it to access ADSL2+ but I would need to have the permission of the body corporate to do so. One of the main reasons I can see in not being allowed to do so is the fact that all the apartments are contactable by security/front desk and vice versa. So does any one have any good ideas of believable excuses for needing to get my own copper line? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

So far some of the ideas I have thought of are:

My brother is moving down and running expensive software with monthly subscription fees and the available internet will not work.

Or he is running a few websites and has to have 24hr monitoring and the available internet will not work.

    etc...

    Thanks

Just use one of your excuses.
I don't really know what you're talking about... I don't need to ask permission to do anything...
