Hello. I finished a course about kindle money making and want to start it. The problem is that I am from Pakistan and I heard that amazon deducts additional 30% (Other than the 30% it normally deducts from US people as well) which does not leave much of a profit for you. I also read that you can apply for a US TIN (tax payer identification number) if you want to recieve full royalty but the process seems to be quite difficult.

Is there anybody (not a US resident) who is doing Kindle and overcame the additional deduction issue? Or If a Pakistani guy can help me in this ergard?

You dont pay taxes, they are deducted from your earnings per sale. I want to ask whether additional deductions will be made due me tnot being a US resident?

If your country has an agreement with the US, you do not need EIN number. You just need to look at the percentage they deduct.

just fill out the tax form from the IRS, that amazon provides and your taxes will be changed to 0%
you just have to enter your data, your local tax ID and accept some TOS
worked for me on amazon.de - germany
