I am helping a local gourmet snack company (who I fortunately have some connections too) with it's online retail sales, but I am finding difficulty on where to start.

The website is already very professional, and ranks for some good keywords. Currently, they are only doing $1,000 a month in online sales, but they do way more than daily at their offline shop(They have been recommended by Rachael Ray, and even Gabby Douglas gave them a shout out in an interview, so they are doing very well offline). They are specifically looking to expand their traffic through social media. The problem is, they already have a pretty good and regularly updated Facebook and twitter pages, along with a newsletter etc. So basically, it looks to me, their website is decked out and they are doing everything they should be.

All I can think of so far, is making them a YouTube channel, and possibly recommending they start a share-a-sale affiliate program or something.
What other things could I suggest to them?

If I can actually give them good advice and help them execute it, this might be a good gig for me. I just don't know where to start because they are doing so much already.
Is there anyway to kick-start their Facebook campaign thats not blackhat? (they have about 1,500 fans now)

Any ideas for questions I could ask them?

Why do people buy online ?
Because it is cheaper online :) Ask them to offer a discount price or online daily specials , that will increase their conversion rate .
And to increase traffic , well PPC , FB PPC , FB contests maybe ( the winner get a free shopping card ) etc..

Their bags can say "Shop online at website.com for exclusive deals" and then you get the attention of those who love to shop online.

You can also get the till roll changed so that at the bottom it says something like "our preferred customers shop online at www.theshop.com"

They can start offering special discounts for their FB fan page members. This special should be available and limited only to the fb fan page. Sort of a exclusive club deal.

Thanks for the suggestions. I replied to their email with ideas of what I could do, and they seemed to be impressed, so I have a meeting with the owner tomorrow :D

Just got back from the meeting. Nailed the interview. To my surprise(a good one), I was offered an ongoing job at their office as their new Marketinging and Social Media Cordnator and Website Manager, with salary and performance bonuses. The last person who had my job had a college degree, Im 20 and have only done one year of college, have never had any sort of real job(thanks to IM), and 4 years of BHW :D See kids, don't got to college, got to BHW hahaha

Make a Pinterest account. Get on Fancy too. Offer giveaways and contests for check-ins, likes, shares, re-pins, and tweets. Put up some posters in the store asking for social mentions and promoting the website.
