Paypal limited my account saying that I have "customer service issues" and dissatisfied buyers who want their money back and that I need to email paypal to give them permission to refund the people. They won't let me do anything with the money until I do this. I have over $1,200 in the account and I am simply not doing this because I don't know what the hell they're talking about since I have no outstanding complaints on my account and I get the feeling like I'm going to lose all of my money if I go through with this. I need some help on how I can get the money moved out of this account and into a new account I made so I can withdraw it.
Basically you can't do anything because you have your account limited. THe only thing to do now for you is to wait 180 days to withdraw the funds from the account. Is your paypal permanently limited? If your paypal account is NOT permanently limited, you can't even withdraw from it after 180 days though.
Contact the PayPal Executive Escalations Department through email threatening to open a BBB dispute and leave your phone number and they will call you and sort it out in your favor, trust me.
Tough spot dude they did this when I had $175,000 in mine Here's the steps I took... I did a tweet campaign and got $125,000 back I then bothered them non stop emailing their CEO and calling risk prevention over and over and that got me another 30k back... I then waited 3 months and got 15k back After 1 more month I got the remaining 5k back all about being super annoying Seriously though social media is your best bet, every company addressed public PR right away
Agreed. Never trust anyone with your money. I withdraw weekly to my bank account..There are no fees so why wouldn't you... I figure banks are a lot safer......
no, it is not permanently limited, they said it would only be limited until I resolved the problem, so I guess the 180 day rule doesn't apply which after doing some searches I thought it would
The money was made over the course of five days... You realize if I were to withdraw it all at once I'd have a much harder time getting it back Don't jump to conclusions lol
I'll try the idea agera said, I don't have near enough followers on any site to effectively use social media. lol. I was actually able to get all but about $180 back by "refunding" money to my own paypal accounts since I transfer money between accounts frequently since paypal never took away my ability to refund, but I'm still not letting them keep the remaining money
