If he stole it from you by doing a chargeback; file a dispute over that; and notify your host that he stole copyrighted content.

    That really sucks though!

A DoS attack springs to mind but you need someone far blacker than me to help you there!!
Also, not sure if it's worth your time and energy.
Make sure you keep pursuing/disputing through official channels until some of the other guys offer a more satisfying solution.

Good luck....that kind of thing just stinks!

WoW! What a scumbag! Even if it's only $75. That's a shitty thing to do. Personally, I would call whomever the credit company was (Paypal, visa?). I don't know the details but they should be able to do something. Either the guy has to give you the money or the product back. You can't just buy intellectual property and keep it and get a refund. Unfortunately, hiring a lawyer will probably cost you $200 for one hour so it's a tough situation but you might be able to get this guys paypal (visa whatever) canceled for fraud.

Are you looking for ddos service? It'll cost you more than those $75.
File a dispute at paypal and escalate it and send screenshots of the transaction to pp.

Make a whois lookup on the domain now that it's on his hands, and hope that it isn't protected xP lol I dunno :/

well..if it was paypal...you can escalate the dispute and simply write "digital service provided"

not a damn thing the scamster can do about it. you'll get your money back, and since he doesnt have the license, he cant use your site anyways. So he'll eventually be screwed...

My brother had a paypal unauthorized claim case. Same deal as yours. Buyer moved everything, locked him out and claimed unauthorized transaction. My brother uploaded all the convos and everything else he could find, PP decided the prick that claimed unauthorized transaction won. $600 PP chargeback.

So I'm interested in how this thread turns out as well.

    Good luck.

You could always try clickbombing his adsense ads I guess...assuming that they're on the site and also that he's changed the publisher ID...and, also employ a few tactics to get him blacklisted/sandboxed from the Big G....

also, you can file a complaint on angies list. You gotta pay a fee like $10 a year I think but you can write a complain about his company. It's kind of the complaint department of the Internet.
You might want to try writing him and telling him you plan to take action. Legal and otherwise. Tell him you will post on angies and contact the attorney general and report him for fraud, etc. It might be worth the $75 to get you off his back.

If they have not paid you for the website and content, then you still own the Intellectual Property rights.

File a DMCA report with the web host, and each of the major search engines. The web host will suspend their hosting account and the SE's will remove the site from their results.

He may have screwed you for $75 but the site will be useless to him
