I'm having trouble deciding on which WP installer to use. I've looked at YACG installer and WPManager*DX as well as blogslammer.

What my ultimate goal is to be able to upload a WP MU "core" consisting of the WP blog plus the desired plugins with preconfigured settings (so that way I don't spend hours manually setting up and activating plugins on each site. If the aforementioned installers already do that kind of stuff, then which ones?

    Thanks in advance!

Could you not create a default blog, no posts but all the plugin you need, take a backup of the DB and WP folder. Then all you need to do is copy the folder to new location, setup DB, change setting in WP to point to new DB then import your DB Backup...
