Need Help Attracting Members to My Free Discord Server (Giveaways Included!)

Hey everyone,


I recently launched a Discord server where automated bots provide valuable information. The best part? It's completely free to join, and members don't have to pay anything. My goal is to grow the community and attract more users, but I'm struggling to get people to join.

I've been thinking about running giveaways as an incentive, but I want to make sure I'm using the right strategies to get real engagement.

Does anyone have experience with:

  • The best ways to promote a Discord server?
  • Effective giveaway strategies to bring in active users?
  • Any other organic growth methods that work well?

I’d really appreciate any insights or advice! Thanks in advance.

I don’t have moderators yet, but I’m offering free premium access to those who help me grow the server. The bot I will use costs me over €150, and soon I’ll be launching an exclusive section for paid members. Those who help me now will get everything for free!

From my experience with discord giveaways from back in NFT days
if the giveaway is promoted correctly, you would attract abundant of users coming in.
But those said users, will have a very very low engagement rate and very few would actually buy it.
It's good to bolster numbers but to get leads that convert, it's not good at all.

What we did at one point was, raffles based on referrals.
Have your community reach out to their brand, make your community promote your product for you.

This is why I loved Disboard for ROBLOX rewards, those who searched found

that is my plan,just get 50-100 people is the most difficult.

To answer your question

I'd stick myself on a few directories for traffic, then share for share or share for share first then promote online...

I'd use myRewards to reward users in points for completing offers, set a minimum payout to exchange points for X

Organic growth? I'd get YouTube videos and a website going to back, you already know how hard organic will be to get going
