    hey yall...

I have some programs that I am trying to run that my home connection just isnt fast enough to run.

does anyone have any suggestions on a vps that would have a very fast connection and windows on it?

I am not trying to do torrents or anything like that...just the software im trying to work with moves faster than my internet connection can handle.

I dont need a lot of space or even that much bandwidth...just need the internet connection to be fast.

and of course...preferably not super expensive :)

PS: maybe some place where you could custom select options or something...(so i could select less space and monthly bandwidth but faster connection speed)

I used to have a VPSLand VPS and got to say that it was flawless although, unlike papadre, I thought the support was slow. When they did reply it was fine, but don't hold your breath.

For 18 bucks its a good one (think they still do the 50% off the first month)

$9 for the first month and then $18 after that?
Not sure if you will find cheaper than that and actually keep the box up!

Yeh VPS land is what I use and have found their support to be quite good. I have had email responses within 24hrs after I had emailed them and this was even over the christmas period.

I've been working with Vpsland.com too. Their support sucks but i'm not having too many problems ;) They provide a stable service at least.

Yes, Vpsland.com is what I'm planning to use for my windows remote desktop needs. At $18/ month for a Windows box they are the cheapest windows os VPS provider that I know of. And yes, they still have the 50% off the first month for new customers. Though I heard they have lousy support.

vpsland.com sucks egg! their support isn't that good, imo.

the current one that i got is from emcwebhosting.com, but a bit expensive.. even the vps that has no control panel.
