Hello there all,

I have a few questions in regards to the Seranking software.

We used to check the ranking, metrics for specific keywords or sites by using Ahref, Semrush, Moz and so forth,

Be that as it may, one of my clients checking their ranking in Seranking software for the keyword (low-competitive). They are ranking in Seranking however not in Ahrefs also in Moz, Semrush.

Would anyone be able to explain for me, please? I know that the metrics may vary depends on the tools but I just want to know many of you prefer Seranking.

TIA

The best way to check the actual rankings is through an incognito page or new browser installation with a proxy or vps from the country you want to rank in. Tools can never be reliable, because they only check the rankings periodically, and between checks, rankings can significantly change. An actual serp checker tool will usually bring better results than both ahrefs and semrush, because ahrefs and semrush will go through the full google index with their crawlers, while a serp tool will have targeted checks on the keywords you are interested in. This means that the semrush or ahrefs database might change results for a smaller keyword once per week, while a serp checker will check it daily.

Yeah got it! Thank you

There are multiple factors, for example if we are talking about a geographically located result, it's commoner than nearer results rank better than further

Since all this tool use a server (through a proxy, VPN, or the server in the datacenter itself) to do the Google queries, they are server location dependant.

In this specific case, even what @SunnyLeon suggested is not ideal, since you will also be proxy location dependant.

For example, let's say that you are looking for "plumbers" but your server is located in Sacramento. If you were using a server located Las Vegas, probably your client based on Salt Lake City, could be ranking better for that query from the Las Vegas server compared to the Sacramento server.

If we are talking about non-geolocated queries, things can change a bit, but even the TTFB where the server location has some impact, could be interfering.

Semrush & Ahrefs are slow with tracking keywords/traffic,
You'll simply be a couple of days at least behind real-time results, which is not the case with Seranking
