Really? you're hijacking his thread instead of making your own?

Honestly, if you think you're getting 400 word articles that are of good quality at $2, please know not many good writers will work for $0.50 per 100 words

I did see an add on WF of some one who was writing articles for $2.75/500 words.

Good quality for $0.50/100 words? You'll be lucky to get dodgy spun content for that. Minimum for readable is $1/100 and minimum for a good article is $1.50-$1.75/100
