At the end of september the traffic to my wordpress blog went down from 500 visitors a day to 10. After searching on forums I learned that panda 4.1 was released. I have read lots of "Panda 4.1 Recovery" articles and evertyhing points to poor content. All of my keywords site wide seem to have been hit with a -50/-60/-70 penalty. This made me make the following changes to my website.

-Removed about 30% of my articles which were either poorly written or short in size.
-I found people had copied some of my articles and posted on there sites, I removed these articles from my site
-Now I only have high quality articles I have written myself on the site
-Made sure all articles are min of 500 words
-I noticed I had a few articles which were very simular, so I deleted one of the articles.
-Added "About us" "Contact Us" "Privacy Policy" "Site map" pages to my site
-Removed all google ads from site (One ad was above the fold)
-Improved my page load time to 2 seconds

I made these changes about a month ago and there is no sign of recovery. Do I need to wait more time for google to reconise these changes? I have seen other people recover from panda i days?

Does anyone have any ideas what else I can do? I can PM you my url if that helps

    About my site

    -15 years old
    -Clean link profile
    -PR3
    -Tech niche

    Thanks

After making changes to your site, you have to wait until the next panda update before you can recover.

I heard that the 301 redirect on the bad pages from your website to other website is going to help you with traffic.I currently try this and seems that it is working. After 2 days i doubled my traffic with no new content on my website.
Me two I was hit by panda update and from 9k/day to 500/day :(

A redirect is the fastest way to recover from a Google penalty, but the disadvantage of redirects is that the penalty usually passes through the redirect to the new domain name. With redirects (301), you can recover from a penalty within 24 hours (I've experienced it firsthand).

you can flush the penalty by 301ing to a sub domain , cleaning the main domain, and if you get hit again go back to the old domain

Well, you need to develop your SEO strategy depending upon search engine rules. There is not specific way to recover from Panda is your website has been hampered by it. Instead you can think performing SEO activities based on guidelines provided by Google.
