My country has stringent laws in regard to auto-posting software. I had a thriving business selling an auto-posting service however legal reasons here have caused me to look abroad to accept payment. I have an established a bank account in another country legally through a separate entity however I am having trouble attaining a merchant account without the use of my ID or other identifying documents. As I want to keep everything legal and not break any laws I am looking for someone that can accept payments. Other competitors have recently opened up in countries such as India to avoid the heavy scrutiny Western law provides, for the past 5 years they have operated without any legal ramifications due to US/Canadian law not applying there. Can anyone offer advice as to how to get the merchant account setup? Also possibly looking for a partner that has an established merchant account, I am willing to pay 5% of payments taken which is quite sizable based on my prior business.

    Best Regards,

You could think about either setting up a business and register it to use that name for a merchant account or acquire a stealth
    account like with PayPal.

I already have a corporation and bank account there however when I try to open a merchant account they request passport and ID.

You needed a Passport or some type of ID for your bank and corporation so why not just use that information for the merchant account?
