honestly!! if the first question is "what should I know" then the only good advice I can give you is this!

    Don't do it!

Sounds a little sarcastic but I'm just keeping it funky with you.

If you want to start a successful CPA network, you need at least $100k in liquid capitol. Any less and you won't be able to float affiliates, and no one likes taking net 30 payments these days. In addition, the premium tracking systems cost $1500+ for setup and $1500+ per month, so be prepared for that as well.

oh ok! Yea! what should I know...threw the question off a little, the best useful tips I can give you and I'm sure others here can chime in also...have enough of what I call "Swing money" or money to float meaning when the advertisers are late paying you, your still responsible for paying your publishers on time without going broke waiting on the advertiser to catch up.

Oh and develop your own tracking system might cost you a pretty penny but it will save a lot of money in the long run
CPA network is a hard business to crack is it doable YES! however the chances of failure is far greater then success but failure is the best teacher

    Also consider security

    Good luck

but $100k it's a lot...can I start with low budget? And yes, net-30 or net-15 would be fine for start...I don't want to dominate CPA business from first year, lol

You can't get into this kind of business with low budget, and consider those 100k as already low budget

    Low budget = Failure

No affiliate will want to run to a brandnew network with net 15-30 payments, it just doesnt work like that. And if you ever get an aff that does want to run, 99% of the time its going to be fraud.

To be honest, if you haven't got a large enough budget and the exact knowledge of how it's going to pan out; but your attention in to something more constructive for the time being.

You may want to take a look at my thread entitled Start Your Own CPA Network in 4 Easy Steps - it should give you some valuable insights.

TL;DR: 1) Before you even think about capital etc. you need a USP; 2) Your USP needs to be feasible; 3) Yes, you need at least $100k (preferably more) of capital; 4) You need advertisers (NOT brokered offers from other networks).
