So I have a site which becomes viral. Not that so much viral just a couple thousand visitors a day. I have a social media locker placed on my site wherein if visitor wants to access a certain link, they need to like, tweet, or g+ my site. In around 5 days, I've got 6.3k likes on my page. Now yesterday, I have noticed a big drop in my visitors. So I've checked what's wrong and I notice that the "Like" button in my social media locker is not working. I am getting this message when trying to hit the "like" button in my social media locker:

I suspect that is the reason why my traffic drop heavily. Now I'd like to seek for advices on how to avoid this. Basically I am planning on redoing this site. Creating a new same one.

And can someone explain me what is the cause of this? Do people flagged my link? Basically I am using this with a PPD niche promoting fake stuff so I was thinking that people is flagging my link in FB.

    Any insight would be helpful.

You could have a completely different domain that redirects to your site, and then just have the user share that link instead. It's not a great workaround, but should be sustainable for if you get flagged again...

Starting now, stop doing the mistake of having just ONE url/page to like.

On your website, where you have the Like button you should add a javascript rotator (there are many banner rotator, so it's simple to adapt one to work for likes) to that like button. That way you can use as many urls as you want.

For example, you can create 10 different Tumblr's, wich all of them redirect to your Facebook Page. With the rotator script, use all 10 different URLs and you should be good to go. I used the Tumblr example because they already have some authority on Facebook so it's easier than buying new domains.

You should try it, it can work better :)

Thanks a lot bro. This maybe is the solution I am looking for. I will implement this right now but I will be doing it manually for now. Changing the like link everyday cause I don't know if that javascript rotator you are talking about can be implement with codecanyon share locker. That's what I am using atm.

Anyway great advice. Thanks a lot.

while that will work in staying unbanned longer
it will stop it from going viral since there are so many different domains
