Hi guys.. I need some advice here.

4 years ago I created a blog in web dev niche and constantly adding posts to the site. However since I don't have any clear direction with the site, the results turn out to be disappointing .I don't even target any keyword to SEO, I just create random post according to my mood.

Till date the site has around 115 posts, but I only manage to get around $100. So far, this is my worst project. Maybe this niche is too competitive.

Right now as I have solid foundation of onpage SEO and linkbuilding, I decided to rank this site for a medium competition keyword.

Since I've lots of articles in the site with no real purpose, do you think it's best for me to just take out half of them and use them for 1st tier contents such as guest blog, blog network, or web 2.0?

Or should I just let the articles there and use new contents for tier 1?

I really need a solid advice regarding this.. :)
