    Soofi,

Try buying an EMD if its not already taken (it looks like a lot of them are from a simple search). You will have to work very diligently and probably won't see ranking for a while on these terms. Generate as much content as you can and put it on the site. If you want to rank faster I would suggest adding content on a daily basis with a blog, creating external properties, youtube videos, and social profiles promoting your product/service. Other than that you may want to choose some less competitive keywords to go after.

Here are some good tips for going after highly competitive keywords,

    Hope that helps,

    Shawn

I would start off with a PPC campaign. Then use broad keywords and take note of some longtail keywords visitors are using to find your site. Once you get a list of some good longtail keywords "low competition, average traffic" optimize for those keywords first. This will atleast get your foot in the door.

You can find a decent market targeting longtail keywords instead of targeting those "high competition, high traffic" keywords.

not even close.. and mind you, it's a long tail .org that I'm trying to rank well which is an exact match for one of the phrase I am trying to pursue with "online" at the end.

PPC campaign, I'm not sure if I can afford that plus I am a noob when it comes to managing one of those.. mind you, the domain is a long tail .org that I'm trying to rank well. It is an exact match for one of the phrase ("video to mp3") I am trying to pursue with "online" at the end. Thanks for the tip on pursing long tails phrases, that's a good start for now. plus a blog to go with that where some regular content should be thrown might help.. lets see :)
