I have an adult forum running for a year now, i havent done much but Ive been getting a steady stream of posters.

I would like to get rid of it but the traffic is rather low, but it does come with a legit version of vbulletin.

any tips or advice would be great!

p.s. based on my traffic method, ive gotten sales off the front page, i decided to change the front page (it was just an advert) into a forum and thus wanted to build more people.. i have not installed any ads on my forum so the potential is there.
p.s. it is an old domain, it has stable listings every month (coz i figured that older domain = less spammy)

Unfortunately most marketplaces have restrictions on adult sites, but you could always a dedicated service like adultsitesforsale.com

I've faced the exact same problem myself as flipfilter is absolutely right saying that there isn't a decent marketplace around that would allow listing adult sites.

What I ended up doing myself was selling my site as a 'business', by creating a new website with the sole purpose of describing the site and the terms of the sale and advertising it via Craigslist and a few offline sources.

However, your best bet is probably to get involved in a few adult communities, make some connections and sell it to someone who is already in this business - this way you're likely to also get a higher price for your site as people who know the business can value your site a bit better than those who have never been involved in the industry.
