Hmm. What is your diet like? I've been in to body building for a while now and can teach you a lot. Also do you exercise on a daily basis? Also what is your sleep pattern like?
Hey a little update I'm so tired lol. Feel free to PM me but you have to understand this before you can make any progress in curing your problem. Anxiety and depression are
symptoms. The biggest misconception about anxiety and depression is that you need to take pills, this is only treating the symptoms and not the root cause. Sure you can pop a few Xanax to have a little edge on a night out, but these types of "medications" are only short term solutions.
If you are looking to actually cure yourself, you need to be treating the root cause(s) of your anxiety and depression.
The first thing you should address is your diet. You need a certain amount of healthy fats, good carbohydrates, and lean proteins in order for your brain to be properly nourished and for it to function correctly. Also lots of fruits and vegetables. A multivitamin wouldn't hurt either. What you should be eating every day is: eggs, peanut butter, oatmeal, rice, potatoes, broccoli (all vegetables are good), fruits and really any other quality proteins. Basically cut out all of your junk food as much as you can. Those are just a few examples but there are definitely a lot more choices when it comes down to eating right.
American food is also filled with toxins that affect your brain function, amongst other things. One of the best and cheapest de toxifiers out their is apple cider vinegar. It essentially binds itself to the toxins in your body and processes them out through your liver. For example I used to have some acne on my lower back. Once I started drinking this vinegar my acne vanished completely, but you have to be drinking it daily. It tastes disgusting but it can really help your body out.
Another thing is to stay hydrated. Drink a lot of water. Most people fill up on garbage like soda and energy drinks. These things are terrible for you, and did you know that high fructose corn syrup (the sweetener the companies use all in of your sodas and junk food) is actually as addictive as cocaine? Studies from reputable Universities have proven it over and over again. If you are trying to cut out junk food, you may actually go through a small withdrawal period similar to a drug withdrawal. I'm not kidding either, sugar and high fructose corn syrup possess
physically addictive properties.
A good tip is to do your shopping on the borders of the grocery store. Everything in the middle is crap.
Another great food to help with depression is yogurt, but only the kind with probiotics. These aid with your digestive system and like my previous example, numerous respected Universities have proven a daily intake of probiotics to be as effective in treating depression as Prozac. Amazing huh?
To sum it all up I am a strong believer in Eastern medicine. Western medicine focuses mainly on profits. We promote crap to our people, let them get sick and then turn around and make money off of treating and not curing them. Granted, Western medicine has come a very long way. But have you ever heard an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure? I believe everyone who has some self-worth in themselves should be very vested in to their health and well-being.
I like to think of the human body as like a computer. A virus on the computer can be compared to junk food that people eat. All of the teenagers out their think they are indestructible constantly scarfing down loads of garbage food but no matter how good your genetics are, bad habits always catch up with you.
The last basic thing here is exercise. You must be exercising for at least 30 minutes a day to see any improvement in your mental well-being. Studies have shown that even mild exercise has been more effective in treating depression than SSRI meds like Prozac.
This is also only scratching the surface. Much like IM, if you have the balls and take action, in at least a month you will find yourself wondering why you never invested in proper health before.
Now, I am posting this before you responded so excuse me if you already do lead a healthy lifestyle. I am writing this based on the assumption of me being like, sort of a personal trainer for you. I hope you take what I wrote to heart regardless and yeah
