Join a GOOD Engineering college either in your area or in other states. Some colleges are still accepting forms for their entrance exam.

Take a look at http://www.srmuniv.ac.in/ and their fees.

You can also try for COMEDK

As you are too late so very few forms are left out

Depends on what you want to do. You could spend this year studying and preparing for the next year's IIT JEE and AIEEE, all the while doing IM if you're interested in it ofcourse. Or you could take a look at the colleges which are still accepting admission forms, but most of the colleges take admission based on the AIEEE results so your options will be severely limited.

Whats the point of doing engineering from b or c grade colleges. If you spend the next 4 years learning and earning Internet marketing(if making money interests you), that will be the best investment of time. You wont get a degree certificate (most of them are useless anyways) but you would be able to hire a lot of degree holders. This advice is coming from an IITian himself. :)

    Which IIT are you in?

I'm working IM but I'm still aiming for a degree. And later on planning on getting a Business Administration degree and probably do a psychology course. A college degree has it's own place in your life, it's something to fall back on and should always be kept as an option. Atleast that's my opinion.

Engineering is an absolute waste. All of my friends that are in the commerce stream are making bucket loads of cash as CAs while my engineering college mates are struggling in stupid software jobs. Seriously, take the commerce stream. Engineering is just a fad that is screwing with our youth.

I wouldnt risk rest of my life hoping IM would earn for me. Do your part, be secure, and then get to IM.

I would say, Go get a basic degree (Mechanical,Civil,Electrical) and you have something on paper to fed you if you are about to land in streets.

So, inshort, get a degree, then go for what you like. If you end up "not so well" you can get a job with the degree you have.

Well, thats my plan, that doesnt mean you will have to follow that :)
