hello everyone, this is shariq from india ...
well i have applied as a business developer for a small BPO ... ... they have allotted me a staff of 6 .....
so i have been planning to train them and offer a service on several forums

earlier i was thinking of starting a MNS creation service . ( as all of the guys are well versed in english and wordpress) they have been doing data mining and data entry jobs as of now

but i think there are already quite a few threads offering MNS and after the penguin update i think the sales have dropped...

so i want some advice as what should i offer?
what kind of services you are looking for ?

i was thinking of a service like authority site contractor where the customer chooses a niche and my staff maintains the website ( content, onsite optimization, off site link building or link wheel creation) sort of a VA .....

but i would rather do some research before offering a service...as i will have to train them first

so i would like some advice as how and in what fields should i train them?

its a humbled request to all of u... please point me to the right direction
    :)

Usually, in life no one cares. Anyway, try to be original and find something unique.

You're the SEO provider, so you should make the decision and think it through yourself.

This isn't the olden days before where social bookmarks, wikis, blog commenting worked every time to rank you in the SERPs. After Penguin, certain services don't work - some are doing well, and others are working on how to increase their SERPs after Penguin.

One advice I give you is to write down about 3 different services you have in mind that you want to sell. No point selling something which doesn't work.

Then go ahead and use your team to test these 3 services thoroughly until you see good movement! When you see something positive, work on that service alone and make it better.

With the Penguin update, certain things just don't work as well. You gotta conduct your own case studies and do it yourself. I know you are only asking for advice, so Im going to answer your question > WEB 2.0S are still working very good.

Why don't you offer something you are actually good at?

My pet hate is people who offer a service and don't actually have a clue what they are doing.

Do you own any authority sites? If so, that could be a route you could go down. If you don't, why would anyone want to buy the service from you?

You could offer a VA service... you manage the staff and the client pays you $X per month for a full time staff member to work on whatever they want.

If you say they are well-versed in English, why not take that as a starting point?

If they are avid Data Entry people, they probably also know their way around a website, and maybe even some basic document and photo editing software.

So, taking those strong points, why not create a Product Optimization Service?

For instance, go to Alibaba.com or a similar Chinese Product Website and look for companies with BAD, or rather "Un-Optimized" product information.

    http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/398164069/Electric_scooter.html?s=p

That product, for instance, is a prime example of a BAD description. They don't have any real Product Description other than basic manufacturing specs.

I think you could easily take 1 of their products, and re-design it with a few paragraphs of text, and proper keyword placement. You could then take it a step further: Do a little keyword research for the product, and give the owner a report about the keywords themselves. How many people search it on Google, etc. From there you can tell them about how much traffic they are missing to their product just by not taking advantage of proper SEO on their products.

There you go, an entire business with an un-tapped niche :)
