    Hello again BHW,

I have been running a Instagram page that has been doing substaintially well recently. A company emailed me about joining them and creating pages for them.

They claim to have worked woth Ferrari, Mercedes-Bens, Ikea, Jimmy Choo, MTV, Sky, Accessorizr, Cafe Rouge and others

They offered me to create pages for them and they will in return bring in brand deals (50/50 split)

I am skeptical of joining because this is the first time I'd be working with a legit company which is a big step for me (I am 17). I did some research and their company was founded this year, so I'm not sure if their claims are true. Their social media pages for thr company are very small (under 100 followers)

The main reason im skeptical is because I'm not sure how many brand deals they would actually bring in. And also if the 50/50 split is a rip off or not. Should I do it? Does anybody have any experience with these types of things.

(P.S I did skype call them and they were very kind and genuine people)

Ask yourself this, do you really think all those claims are true seeing as they dont have many followers and are offering you a 50/50 split. if they had this influencer agency and had clients like that then they would not need to pay you that they could hire people in house to do it. if they are offering a split of revenue as opposed to payment then its likely they dont have any money so i would not attach myself to a company like that at this point. Are they offering you any guarantees? ask them for a retainer of a few grand a month. if they deal with those companies they clearly get paid a lot, and if they dont from companies like that then they dont have a clue what they are doing. I would be very skeptical if i were you.

I would at the very least ask for a retainer if I was going to do it.

His time, as it does not sound at all legit.
