    Hi,

I have 3 aff sites at the moment, one of ranking 4th in google, the other is 12th and the other is lost somewhere.

I also have a blog in which I am trying to create a long term income.

However, my affilate sites are not making me money as the traffic is too low. These where my first ever affilate sites and I picked keywords which were too low in volume

    site 1
    249 on broad
    60 on exact

    site 2.
    49 exact
    74 broad

These are the SEOT settings on MS.

My blog is 1 month old and has 50 pages and 17 posts but it is in a competitive market. It's starting to bring in traffic but everything is taking much longer than I thought it would.

I have 7 months until I leave the country and travel. I will have much much less time and I already have 1 business online which will bring me money but I'm looking to have a affilate site which I can outsource which also brings me money.

So, do I ditch the affilate sites work on the blog? Do I work on the blog and spend less time on the aff sites?

    thanks

If those are monthly numbers then yes they are way too low to make any cash from the traffic. I would see if there are some other related keywords that you can add to the sites to increase the traffic. Keywords that share a word or two would be best but ones that are related by type would work as well.

Ok well I say which ever one has more traffic and the most potential you focus on. from what you have said. the aff site that is 4 page of google you might should focus on. Then the other sites outsource some back linking to do some social bookmarking. maybe use xrumer service, do some social media.

and outsource some article creation. Your focus should go too whatever has the most potential in your eyes. and some good traffic coming in. So but most your focus on that site then do few tasks to bring the other sites along slowly with some back linking and content. hope this helps:)

it's stats for daily vistors based on market samurai estimate of the number 1 spot. so it might be more daily vistors.

I was thinking of starting a new site with more traffic and leaving these sites..

Have you tried adding 'feeder sites' like on Hub Pages, Squidoo (high PR) etc.? You could mulitply your traffic by feeding off those sites.

I tired that with the blog I talked about but didn't see any changes or I haven't tried for my affilate sites
