Need recommendations for a VPS that can run an iMacros script 24/7. Preferably cheap. If anyone could point me to some guide son how to set something like this up would be great, thank you

You could get a server with windows server 2008 or 2012 and if your familiar with windows it is a pretty straight forward setup. Have you tested the iMacro script to work for long periods of time. I know ones I make that are lazy don't have any catchs so sometimes they fail from a page not loading or something like that. I use a sketchy one payment vps and it works ok but it is really only worth it if you get it on sale, which I checked and it is not. If you want to know that name I can PM you it, I dont feel like promoting them openly.

I actually ordered a $10/month vps from cheapwindowsvps but I had some problems with it. When I would disconnect from the VPS to go do other stuff on my computer I would then check the vps later on. When I checked the VPS I see that the script wasn't running while I was disconnected. What's the point of the VPS if I have to constantly have it open?

Was this a linux VPS? You have to setup linux vps to not shut down after you disconnect. If it is a windows one, then that is a faulty vps.

Durp: Cheapwindowsvps probably sells windows vps...my bad

I spent about 35 bucks for a lifetime sub to the vps I use now and it works pretty well, I have a few bots running on it, but sometimes the servers go down (maybe once every several months) especially is there is a sale, and you cant access the vps for like a week. It is the price I pay for being cheap

That is not the fault of VPS provider. All windows VPS are designed to do so.
You have to connect using tscon and disconnect using mstsc.
You read about this here (reply #9). It should work with all windows VPS.
Also, if you are using a GUI macro with it, make sure you set the resolutions right. iMacros should work fine though.

And you can run iMacros on free tier AWS VPS, if it is just a macro, it should run fine. I run mine there too.
