I've been asked to create a job role for someone who does the following

    SEO
Implementation of new technolgies within the company
Train peopel up on new technologies

And generally the guy that everyone turns to when its to do with the internet and generating business.

Any ideas of what a good job title would be?

"Director of Online Marketing and Emerging Technologies". You could tweak "Director" to be something else if it's too grandiose.

    * Implementation of new technolgies within the company
    * Train people up on new technologies

This would typically be considered the IT Dept.
The staff in that dept would be IT Specialists,
If it's more than a one man man dept then the head of the dept would be something like
    - Director of Information Technology Services.

    * SEO
    * generally the guy that everyone turns to when its to do with the internet and generating business.

In most small companies this would still be a job within the IT Dept,
If it's more than a one man dept, then one guy may be assigned specifically for these tasks
and the job title would be something like
    - Online Technology Specialist
    - Web Services Specialist
    - Internet Marketing Specialist
or any of the other similar titles other people have suggested.
