hello, newbie here. I sell "replica" items (very good quality, hard to get your hands on too, which makes it a money making machine) im looking for a payment processor to process payments for me. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Obviously i understand that this isnt a legal business but in certain parts of the world they are openly sold without being penalized, if i could get a processor to process payments for me in those countries id be over the moon.
Can anyone reccomend me a company?

i have heard of gspay, however ive also heard the horror stories associated with them too. what can i expect from a high risk merchant account?

i expect to rake in £20k annually, probably more as i grow. and dont want all this effort to go down the drain if some processor decides to keep my money.

The main issue that you will find is that no third party aggregatior ( and they are the only ones who touch replicas ) will give you a MID as it is not worth there time for 20K annual turnover. At a minimum they would be looking to make 20% gross ( 10% processing fee and 10% hold back percentage ) If you are only looking to do 20K per year it is not worth it to them.

This industry is massive and the numbers are staggering. There are very many players making 200K per quarter in the replica business not to mention the pharms, adult, gaming players.

I would change my business model so that I at least have an chance of making 20K PER MONTH then try and find a third party aggregator to process the CC payments

High risk merchant accounts are not too different from regular accounts in that you deal with a merchant processing company that has relationships with acquiring banks (this is who sends you the money when a good transaction is processed).

The main differences between a regular merchant account and an high risk account are the transaction fees (% per transaction and fixed fee per transaction both of which are generally higher that a reg merch account) and the holdback/reserve. The holdback is the cash the acquiring bank holds in reserve (usually a rolling reserve for X months) to protect themselves from chargebacks or fraudulent activity and that holdback amount can be as high as 50%.

So you have to do the math to make sure you can cashflow your biz based on the holdback/rolling reserve and make an acceptable profit based on the transaction fees.

If you're looking for a high risk merchant account just google "high risk merchant accounts" and you'll have lots to choose from. I've worked with and work with a number of them. Let me know if you want me to recommend one.

get to the checkout page for anyone of them and find the name of their processor/gateway! Also, I Hope you are not planning to sell as an individual, and if you happen to go offshore, share the company you used to get IBC

    hi thanks for reply.

what do you mean as an individual? yes i am a sole trader, dont have no companies created or anything.
ideally due to the nature i would like to go offshore, ideally china/asia.
host on an offshore vps too.

im aware brand owners can and do sieze domains, whether they track the indviduals running them im not sure about. The chinese seem to get away with it somehow.
