I need some guidance for a countdown timer script. I want the script to be able to countdown from current time to date B, the script should show the days, hours, minutes, and seconds. The script should work with a chosen time zone, leap years and DST settings. I would also like the script to display days passed from Date A.

Can anyone guide me how to go about this?

I just used this one for a project and I think you should be able to accomplish everything that you want. Check it out -

    Code:

I was going to give it a go and script my own timer but as I don't have the time to do so I decided to keep looking until I found the perfect version of what I need.

It's very nice, simple and neat, and it can be easily modified to suite your needs.

    Code:

If you look at the related posts, there are more versions of the counter.

Anyway, I've been giving out too many Thanks because the button keeps disappearing.

    So thanks guys. :)
