    Hello there.

I am quite new to BHW so you probably don't know me lol .

Anyway, I have been searching for a pdf to text converter but I just can't find one which works. I don't care if its online or a software, but does anybody know a working one?

It can also be a pdf to word converter. However, it needs to convert the pdf not only to word, but to text in word. The ones I've tried, converts the pdf into a image which then opens in word

    Thanks in advance,
    Sune

ps. I am quite unsure if this is the correct section. Just move the topic if needed.

So yeah... I tried the site and I got the mail with my file. However, when I opened in word, it was still a file which showed up as a picture and not as text....

    UPDATE!

The converter needs to be able to convert pages which I scans into my pc, into text. I start to think that such a program doesn't even exist...

Dude, any OCR software should be able to do that...it comes with most scanners these days.

    Thanks for your answer shananiganzzz.

I've found a online version but it only allows me to create 20 each month. I can convert more but then it will cost me DOH :)

Anyway, thanks for your answer guys. I think I solved the problem.

If anybody should be interested, here is a good article to read: http://www.labnol.org/software/organize/ocr-scanning-software-tools-for-paperless-office/3574/
