I have at least 3 pictures that I want edited. They're somewhat blurred, unsharp pictures taken with a cellphone. I want them to look sharper, less blurry, enhanced colors and of an overall higher quality.
The photos are NSFW-ish but don't contain nudity.

Paying $5 per picture edited. Need at least 3 done but probably a lot more in the future. PM me with your Skype or email if you're interested.

But really. A photo is never really going to look any better than its original form with some quick filters. Sure, you can sharpen it in Photoshop, maybe balance out the colors a bit, etc. quickly but for $5, you're not going to get anything that looks extraordinary or even remotely better than the original. A ton of airbrushing and manual pixel work would need to go into making any crappy cell phone pic look presentable.

5$ (actually he offered $8) is way more than the daily pay for the average job in a lot of countries... don't get your point...

OP's requested service aside, that's got to be the worst argument I've ever heard. Keep in mind that my post refers to my own country, not some other country with which I have no affiliation. That very obvious assumption in place which you should have made, you're saying that no matter how much work should go into a job, as long as the rate of pay is more than some other country, no one should complain about it?

If to make cell phone pictures look anywhere near high quality would take hours of manual work, as long as I'm being paid more than some other country, even if it's a rate that's unsustainable in my own country which is the mentality in which my post stems, then no one can argue with it?

OP never said that he's seeking an overseas worker that can safely live for $5. He merely said $5 - that's it. I have to take this number into account on a microeconomic scale, not a global scale in which I compare all of the world's economies and decide that $5 is probably sufficient for elsewhere in the world, even if it's nowhere near reasonable for my own locale.

I can make a focused picture blurry for you, or a blurry picture more blurry, but I can't turn sheet into gold.

Sorry mate - didnt knew that BHW is restricted to your country only and everybody has to keep in mind what is the pay in yours...
I'd suggest to ask if someone can open a sub-forum for you so the people who are not refering to your country don't bother you...

Well, he also didn't say that hes looking for someone from the US or comparable country - did he?

btw welcome to the internet (it stands for international)...

OP, putting the quarrels in your thread aside, you are actually asking to invent pixels. Regardless of location, this will require some work. Even if it is possible, regardless of location.
Please be aware you may never be satisfied with the work done. Once you expect people to invent pixels it comes down to personal opinion.

I noticed your thread before, eight dollars doesn't cover my cost. Perhaps it does to a third world country but you get what you pay for, no offense intended. (Those in third world countries know how to earn more than eight dollars on this if they are any good.)
I am willing to look at it for shits&giggles but don't expect anything serious to come from it. Getting things messed up (blurry) is a whole different game than producing something out of nothing.

EDIT: @artizhay: lolz! Good point to look at, even from a third world country.... ;)

I saw the images, and the job is definitely impossible, especially for $8 an image. No offense to the OP, it's just that some things can't be done.

You can sharpen any picture with gradients. You can easily make a mobile phone picture look sharper or just better in general. If its for web, screen resolution 72dpi, then you are probably fine. Its pretty obvious that working from a high quality original will likely result in a better quality edit. But with most of today's phone cameras you can get a decent photo. Not sure what the average is but it's probably 8MP. Many will give you better pictures than a midline digital camera from five years ago just because image stabilization has improved so much. But most phone cameras still have small sensors and they over process so you aren't going to rival most digital cameras with your phone camera. I have to edit phone camera footage all the time for web. And yeah, you used to have to turn down media because it was shot with a phone camera. That really doesn't occur much anymore unless the picture is just a poorly shot picture ie. action footage or highly caffeinated photographer.
