If you are like me you have most likely had your IP Address banned from uploading torrents to the major Torrent sites (Piratebay, Mininova) and trying to find a good IP with TOR can be a pain. Well I do have a solution for those that have access to Wireless from there Cell phone carrier.

I have a blackberry that has a unlimited data plan and even allows me to tether it to my laptop and use it like a modem (note: if you do this with some carriers you will be charged unless you pay extra for the tether option).

First I have a list of files that I would like to upload in one folder on my laptop at home and I create torrents for all of them and stick the .torrent files in the same directory as the file itself (for example you should have filename.zip and filename.torrent).

After thats done I disconnect from my LAN/Broadband Connect and connect using my Blackberry which will assign me a new IP Address. Then I head over to one of my favorite torrent sites and start to upload each torrent.

Now since I don't want to seed files using my Blackberry/T-Mobile connection I disconnect and then reconnect my LAN/Broadband conneciton. You should notice that it starts seeding the files again and since you already have them it will be 100% seeded so now people can share off of you.

    Enjoy :)

Only problem that accurs at least for me with simply requesting a new ip is, they are usually in a specific range and if that IP range is banned (for instance on mininova my ip range is banned) then, well it sucks :p

if you have a dsl modem there is a cool program out there too called ipgreen that will automatically switch ip numbers after encountering certain events like 2 captcha codes.
