*Near-Customer* Nearly Brought $600 Product Off Website But Backed Out! Help Please

    Hi Guys

    My web form, told me this morning, that somebody clicked the buy now button on my website, and it went to the Paypal screen where he should have confirmed the payment for a $600 package, but he didn't end up paying.

    I have his full name and email, and the package he tried to buy. Can someone please suggest what I should email to him?

    Would be much appreciated!

    Yeah OP, get in touch with them and see what the reluctance to finalise the deal was.

    DO NOT OFFER A DISCOUNT STRAIGHT AWAY.

    See if they just want some reassurance and find out what is causing the resistance.

    Offer them a Money back guarantee and personal customer service etc.

    If all else fails THEN offer a discount.

    On one of my site also webbyklet dot com,most of the customers get to the payment gateway then dissapear,its corny bro.....

    I've done that once or twice because the seller didn't support paypal.

    In the case of your buyer, maybe his coupon didn't work, maybe he just realised there was an extra 0 at the end of his $60 package. Either way, sure find out what the problem is, but don't be pushy. You will never close a deal like that. If he says "no" outright, then say "thank you for your time, here's a better coupon if you ever change your mind".

    Learn to let go if necessary :)
