    Hello Everyone!

I am not new to BHW or IM, but I am using a new account to create this journey as a symbol for a new start in my life. Personally, things have been rocky and I will not get into the nitty-gritty of it, but I am looking to start a journey not just for income, but for my life.

I know the title sounds ridiculous, but bear with me. I started IM about 5 years ago, but I made the wrong mistake of thinking that it was going to be easy and that making money in this industry is a piece of cake. Of course, i failed instantly. I kept coming back for more, only to be disappointed once again. Eventually, I quit the industry.

Over the years a few things happened in my life that I regret and now I am looking for a fresh start in my life. I still love IM, but I am a very different person than I was back them. My GoDaddy account contains 4 domains, each pertaining to an industry that I enjoy.

This journey is about creating profitable sites out of these domains. One of the sites will be an authority site in the IM niche. The others I plan to turn into amazon affiliate mini-sites. In all I would like to make $5,000/month with these sites by the end of 2015.

It has always been my dream to be good at IM (like Chuck Norris lol) and I would like to earn enough income to do this for a living (hence the pay bills part).

Currently I have collected the following software:
    GSA Captcha Breaker
    GSA SER
    Licorne AIO
    No Hands Proxies
    Scrapebox

My plan is to get started as soon as possible. I am currently in school so time will not be very plentiful, but so be it.

Thank you all of you for the support and learning material on this site. Also, shout out to MatthewWoodward for inspiring me to take this plunge just like many others.

?For all of the most important things, the timing always sucks. Waiting for a good time to quit your job? The stars will never align and the traffic lights of life will never all be green at the same time. The universe doesn't conspire against you, but it doesn't go out of its way to line up the pins either. Conditions are never perfect. "Someday" is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you. Pro and con lists are just as bad. If it's important to you and you want to do it "eventually," just do it and correct course along the way.?

I wish you good luck! I also have journey and I am building an authority site from scratch & I'm at university at the same time.
Beware of scammers here, there's plenty of them. Hope we'll see each other succeeding in the field of IM the next year.

Which CMS are you going to use on your sites?

Hello theqbot. I am using WordPress. I have a rather large stockpile of themes and knowledge of the CMS so I will be using it.

I see you want to make $1,500/month. I wish you success as well. All the best :)

Good luck on your journey. Hopefully you can, like Shoemoney says, get the "skills to pay the bills."

Hello everyone. Sorry for the wait. I have been busy the last couple of days so I have not been able to post any updates.

This is what I have done so far for my journey:

I have set up two blogs. One is going to be an e-commerce site for just a curation of cool products on the web. It will focus on amazon associates to make money. The other site is an authority site that I plan to work on the most and make popular. It will make money from affiliate sales and possibly original products which I may create in the future. These two sites were made from 2 of the 4 domains that I own on GoDaddy.

    E-Commerce Site:

    • Created the actual site on WordPress and found a suitable theme.
    • Decided on the color and style of the site.
    • Added around 19 products to the site.
    • Added images and descriptions for all these products.
    • Added a plug-in to the site to offer Amazon reviews on my site.
    • Added the menu scheme for the site.
    • Created a Facebook and Twitter page for the site.
    • Posted a few products but not all on these social media pages.

Authority Site - this is the meat of my operation and I am putting much more effort into this site:

    • Created the actual site on WordPress and found a suitable theme.
    • Decided on the color and style of the site.
    • Added three posts to the site.
    • Created an email management client - Mailchimp - and set up widgets for potential subscribers.
    • Set up author box and mobile site in order to rank better in Google.
    • Created a Facebook and Twitter page for the site.
    • Posted a few items on these social media pages.

Things I Still Need to Do:

    • Update Facebook and Twitter fully for both these sites.
    • Create my first SEO campaign.

Things I Have Done Apart From Site Building:

    • Set up an VPS for all the software that I have.
    • Found a few topics to possibly post about on my authority site and more products to put on my initial site.

    Some Questions:

    • What is the best way to pursue SEO for an authority site and an E-Commerce site?
    • Has anyone else had experience with ranking a site in Google? What is the best way to see how you are ranking for particular keywords?

    - I'm just trying to get a sense of what others are doing and what is working with Google's algorithms today.

    Thank you. :)

So here is the update so far.

Month to date my authority site got 225 pageviews. Note - I did not start it this week. It is slightly older than that.

In the same time period my 106 pageviews.

I have also started a site this weekend on which I will post viral content.

I will try to monetize this site via Adsense by driving traffic to it from Facebook and other social media sources.

    Hopefully, this all works.

Will update all you guys later. I have final exams this week so I'm not sure too much will get done, but maybe I can launch my first SEO link building campaign.

Thanks for all the support again guys.
