    I have a small website and on the nav, there are links for 'contact' and 'about' pages.

    The about page has a short paragraph. It's a very empty looking page with very little content.

    The contact page has a small contact form and contact info. It's very empty looking also.

    I want to combine the information into a single page, but still have an 'about' and 'contact us' on the navigation since I feel it would be confusing to the user to have just one of those links and not the other. If I call the page /about (but also has the contact info), does it look shady to google to have two nav links with different names going to the same page?

    It will not be a problem.

    It's a simple interlink with 2 different anchors.

    What I would do is to link to a specific element on the page so user is taken there directly and doesn't need to scroll. I usually do this by linking to id= of a <div>.

    Example:
    Code:
    <div id="about">
    About content
    </div>

    <div id="contact">
    contact form
    </div>

    The menu item links would be:

    /about-us#about
    /about-us#contact

    This structure is recognized by bots and beneficial to users = safe.
