I recently switched to a WP site and wanted some feedback.

I run a SEO campaign for a nanny agency in Los Angeles, California. We get hundreds of unique visitors from Los Angeles daily, but our conversion rate is below 1%

I am no designer or programmer (I do SEO) so any advice or tips to help would be great!

    Sleeping Angels Co [dot] com

    THANKS!!!!

First off you should remove the actual link from your post, telling Goofle you are going to a blackhat seo forum for seo advice is a bad idea, and the backlink from here is unwise. Goofle hates blackhat.

Second, why on earth are you targeting "sleeping"?

Third, what is the traffic doing when they arrive?

The bounce rate is 30% and the traffic visits 1.14 pages on average with a time on site of 1.14 seconds

80% of the traffic is highly targeted coming from Los Angeles so it is strange that people are not converting

There are tools to see what the visitor actually does on your site. One is offered for free here on BHW.

Get a hold of today as see what they are doing.

That will help you a bunch.

If you have cPanel and an available root domain, you can use PIWIC, its free.

Part of the reason that the page is not converting is that there is no clear call to action when the page loads. Your phone number is miniscule and has to be hunted for. There is no form on the page at all, much less visible when the page loads. It is not easy for your potential customer to contact you.

Next, there is the whole sleeping thing. If I am coming to see someone about my child care, I want that to be their sole concern. Having a child care provider running a sleep disorder clinic on the side is only sightly less disturbing than a sleep disorder clinic running a child care center on the side.

I think you are hurting your credibility as a professional provider of both of these markets.

UNless there is a very compelling reason to leave it on the home page, I would put that is a "health qualified nannies" section, and list all your special needs nannies in this scetion.

Have you thought about using a pop up there?

I use that on a few sites and it increases conversions like crazy.

I've seen it on service sites also so it would not be all that unusual.

I think BTB has a really good point here, worth a try definitely.

I put a pop up on a site where I got a steady and small stream of subscription to my email list, and the pop up did a lot of good.

Not saying made it millions of subscribers each month, but it does work in many cases.
