Disclaimer: In the lounge since I think this is hilarious, but I'm not yet sure if this should be considered serious business to be out in the regular making money section. Read and decide. :-D

Yeah, so today I was doing some keyword research on a nitce I'm interested in building up and I notice a keyword in the list that isn't really related to that niche but they share a common word, to my surprise this term is searched for about 13 Million Times a month, has some crappy top SEPRS and only your run of them mil, not related PPC ads...

Problem is, the term is related to a mythical beast, and to my utter disappointment, my CPA program doesn't have any offered geared towards creatures not of this world.

So, if anyone knows of a product I can market to Big Foot Fans, let me know, we can do a JV woohoo.

(it's not big foot, just an example lol)

Im not entirely sure that number is correct. For example the keyword "ebay" gets searched 37 million times per month in google. It is pretty hard for me to believe any mythical creature gets half as many searches per month as eBay does

I dunno, but you could probably write an eBook out of it (same title as this thread and all), and sell it on DP. They'll buy it.

    i stay corrected..its not amazon. I am quiet :)

The question here is what *exactly* are the people looking for if they type XXXX, its not the word itself,
    it must be a phrase.

You can set Adwords to "exact" and see that the word alone (exact matching) "only" has 368.000 searches.

So, if you promote XXXX but the majority of people are actually looking for "XXXX XXX XXX" where the word is contained then the word itself might not be of big use.

I THINK the high search volume comes at least from two phrases where that creature is included, the word in question...(i am pretty sure i found it) itself not that high volume.

WAAAAIIIITTT lol . Just a poll will not work.

Let me explain in targeting niches like Big Foot there is alot of debates on things kinda like the example I used. Search a forum based on that creature you would like to know about and see what they are debating . Maybe it is a picture . Maybe it is rather to capture something or not . I mean it could really be different things but find out .

Get said picture*if it is a picture* and BE REAL . Act like you realllyy wanna know there opinion. The sloppier and unprofessional it looks really the better . DO NOT try to look like a pro . Hell if you can get you 12 year old niece to do it then that is ACE. I say that because if it looks professional they will automatically put there guard up.

Now tell them as a thank you you would like to give them xxx for free. Try to make it sound as sincere as possible. Once again do not try to sound like a marketer . Try to sound like there friend who really is eager for more information.

Now about marketing PPC will work but there is also now another way you can market this. JOIN those forums and say guys look at this . LOOK AT WHAT I FOUND OMG! Or some stupid crap after you truly infiltrate there lair . Get a few non spammy post behind you etc etc etc.

This is just for starters but you get the idea.

Ohh yeah dont send me those one and fives send me those thousands and ten thousands
