Myspace Questions

I am doing some myspace stuff, and one issue is that I cant post my link in my profile, so now I am going to have to have people message me, which is ok, but is there a way around that? Also, I was using a friend adder I found here, and it said it was adding friends, but I don't think it was, can someone recommend a free or low cost friend adding system? I could not find a working one here. Do I just need to outsource this for $2 an hour? lol Thanks guys
