Myspace Ad FAIL!!!

    So I'm checking out my myspace when all of a sudden this ad for some reason got my attention. That's when I noticed this..FAIL!!!!

    Anybody else saw this?

    saw a few spelling mistakes in ads already yer, not a good thing to do i guess or does it attract more attention?

    Thats actually a good way of getting attention. Like how often you stop and read ads like these. Chances are that ..well..never. But that made you stop. And you even posted it on the forums where 100's of others will see it.
    So it either was stupid or smart !

    Lol yeah it did draw my attention but in the wrong way. I mean I didn't even click on it. I just took a snapshot of it. So im gonna go with Stupid instead of smart :p

    Well that's a good find. Luckily for them not many people have that eye for detail like you OP. And if they do, they probably won't go "i refuse to click on an ad with a spelling mistake! The nerve, I passed the 9th grade!' :D

    I've heard of direct mail working BETTER with misspellings that not. Because people take note and read carefully. I've never seen it applied to banners, but I bet it could work. Keep an eye out for that banner, see if it's being rotated with a correctly spelled version, or if you keep seeing it in two weeks. IF you see the same banner next month, it's probably working.

    MySpace isnt the same anymore...
    I know a group of people who cashed so much that they would be able to drive big boy car + have mansionS from what they did on MySpace ;)
