I noticed that there's an increasing trend to put a screen name name in front of a download listing.

I'm guilty of having done this simply because I've seen others do it ... Oooops!

Do Admins have a view on this at all?

Could be wee bit controversial but it's Friday night so "what the heck!"

I've never done it, it's probably considered a penis enlarger in some countries. I guess if you want to call attention to your posts it definitely does work.

P.S. I voted for the ego choice.

Gimme4Free - Ive never done this before, WizGizmo does it a lot but he shares a lot and when you see his name in the title you know it's a good share :D

Actually, I have done this almost from day one. It makes it easier for people to search for my threads - especially the older ones that were obfuscated. Now, I guess it's just a branding thing. If the admins told me to cease doing it, of course I would. It certainly isn't because I am trying to monetize anything. Hell . . . I don't even place an affiliate link on my sig. Furthermore . . . I don't even USE a sig.

I give a lot to this forum and I NEVER ask anything in return. And I put a lot of time and effort into my posts. At least I should be allowed is to put my name on my post titles . . . and if it bothers someone, well all I can say is, you are entitled to your opinion.

Cheers! - "Wiz"
