Okay so my personal YouTube account was just suspended forever. I can't get any of my personal videos back or create another YouTube account. This really sucks because I had some stupid shitty videos on there from my childhood that I made with my brother...they may have been stupid and shitty but they had emotional value. The PC they used to be on is gone. So that sucks. But it also sucks because I use GMail so if I wanted to ever leave a comment on a Youtube vid, I would have to log out of my main Google account and then log into a new one....but that might not even work...haven't tried.

Anyway, the video that they cited as the reason was this video that I made when I first got started with IM. It was a shitty video I made on Animoto that I tried to rank for KW "best pressure cooker". There was a link in the description to http://bestpressurecooker.net (yes I'm posting a money site, no I don't give a flying fuck it's not profitable).

It wasn't particularly spammy and didn't even have an affiliate link in the description...the only thing I can think of is that Youtube just went on a tear banning 'pressure cooker' videos because of the recent events in Boston.

This incident just makes me realize more and more how much power Google has to yield without having to answer to anybody. They can just ban somebody from accessing old videos on, participating in, and uploading videos to YT and there's nothing I can do.

Fuck you Tsarnaev brothers, you just got me banned from Youtube

Thought I was buying it new but it was really a dropped domain that had been Penguined because of shitty anchor text profile...have tried diluting anchors and a number of other things but it just won't rank. Wouldn't be worth my time to sell it.

It might not have been YouTube being proactively paranoid. Terrified sheep may have lashed-out at your DIRECT THREAT TO THE AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE and flagged you in order to SAVE THEMSELVES FROM THE DIRECT THREAT TO THE AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE.

Welcome to Democracy. The retards are in charge. Buy guns, and lots of them. And ammo too.

Oh, and maybe a competitor said something like the bought their pressure cookers from you? Ah. I figured it out. The events triggered a manual review. People started searching for pressure cookers, your site probably spiked and hit page 1 and you got a manual review as a result of that and failed due to naughty blackhat spamming techniques.

I just (EDIT) figured something else out. They were searching, trying to figure out what pressure cookers make the best bombs. THAT was their intent and that is why your traffic spiked. You set the site up as a comparative site for pressure cookers, so people could find the best one to cook with, but your search traffic was people trying to figure out what kind make the best bombs.

Which says something about the people doing the searching.

Suddenly, masses of "normal americans" want to know which pressure cookers make the best bombs? What does THAT say.
