This is now my log of my (long) journey to make at least $1k profit online using blogging, or failing that, anyway possible.
The sites I'm talking about are theiphoneguide.info (the one i am experimebt and new-tech-info,com. I also own svpetsitter.com
I'll keep this topic updated daily(possibly every other day) to keep myself on track if there is a interest in it, which there should be since myself and any other aspiring autobloggers. I invite anyone and everyone to post their stories and questions in this thread, as we can all learn from each other.
Anyways, onto my current problems.
1)Anytime I access my wordpress admin for my site, I'm extremely lucky if a page fully loads, and then most the time it will just be blank with half loaded errors everywhere.
So how can I fix this? The site loads too slow for me to disable addons one by one to see which is slowing it down, what should i do?
2)By the way, what do most people design their site in? I'm willing(and wanting) to learn. If I had to guess what they code in, I'd say html mixed with .php? Or do people even code sites anymore, and just create them in Dreamweaver and another program?
If you can design autoblogs that are fully SEO,look good, and will increase my CTR, please shoot me a PM, maybe we can work a deal out.
3)Also, cron jobs. I'm using Wp-o-matic(should i change to WProbot or does it really matter?) and it told me to use a cron job, so i did. I was compatible with simple pie and all that good stuff. Hostgator is my host and they use CPanel.
My cron job looks like this :
20 * * * * /usr/bin/curl http://theiphoneguide.info/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cron.php?code=035dee7a
But nothing is updating. So whats the problem?
4) Priorities: Also, after i get site going better, what should be my next goal? Register the site everywhere? Buy some xrumer blasts? Maybe buy some organic traffic? Advice for this would be taken GRATEFULLY.
I assume I need to let the domain age, build some internal pages(the more the better correct), and just make it perfect.
Is SEO and building backliks the mo important? Or what is the #A1 most important thing?
Then, rinse, improve, and hopefully move on to bigger better things while keeping big G happy.
That's all I cam think of for it.
