EDIT: False alarm :)! thanks for suggestions anyways. It was caused by some youtube auto replay ff plugin I have, and because I have embedded video on the site

Recently I've noticed when I visit my wordpress website firefox tells me it stopped the web page from opening a popup, when I click "allow website to open popup" it doesn't show anything though.

I haven't implemented any plugin etc that should do this so I'm curious if I might have been hacked? Has anyone else experienced this?

Also I've run a scan with wordfence and it says it clean.

    Appreciate any help :)

That sounds like it has been hacked to me. A popup that "doesn't appear" could be a number of things. It could be a cookie stuffing popup, a malware popup, etc. Just because Wordfence didn't find it, doesn't mean it isn't there. You should watch the developer console of your browser to see if you can find anything strange going on.

No nulled script, using a free one by cryout themes.
Thanks for the suggestion I will see if I can notice anything on the developer console

Edit: interestingly it only does it once, it will do it again if I run CCleaner then reopen. Can't see anything on dev console out of ordinary, though I don't really know what I'm looking at :)

Change themes temporarily and see if it still happens. If it does, you've been hacked.

Log in your hosting account and go to file manager. See when are made the latest file changes. If there is a recent change to the files you did not do, then there is probably a put malicious script.
