Alright so I had a completely whitehat site which I built to advertise a clickbank product. Its actually the Maverick Money Makers link in my signature.

I got the site designed by an SEO expert and the got about 500 social bookmarking links, the majority of which were from a service here in the BST and TheLinkJuicer.com everything was going awesomely, I was on the first page and getting steady traffic. Then I got greedy. I wanted to be higher up on the first page so I gathered all of the locations of my backlinks and pinged them. The next day my site was just gone from the first page.

It's not deindexed i searched site:www.mysite.com and it still shows indexed pages. The even weirder thing is that when i log into Google Webmaster Tools is that it still shows the site as ranking on the first page for my main keyword as well as several related keywords. So Webmaster tools says one thing but the reality is that in google my site is gone.

I have considered filling a Reinclusion request with google but I'm not sure if that would change anything. Does anyone have any advice?

If it's not deindexed, then there's no need for a reinclusion request. You may not have done anything that caused the rapid change in your rankings. Fluctuation happens a lot, and it can happen with or without you taking any action. It could also be that when you search for your keywords, G is showing you the results from a different data center each time you search. I wouldn't worry about it for right now. Since you're doing this the WH way, I'd just keep doing WH stuff and monitor the rankings over the next few weeks.

And what are your stats saying? Do u use G Analytics? Check your stats.

Try searching for your website title in G, if your site doesn't show up searching the title or "title" then maybe you're in trouble (maybe sandboxed).

Try looking for your site under different countries: google .co.uk, .es, .kr, .ca, etc. etc. and see what the results are.

yea, i had the same problem with my site, its been over a month and its not back. I also used the link juicer on it. Maybe there is some correlation there? I don't know.

Could the results from one data center put it on the first page and another data center put it not even in the first ten? There was just such a huge drop that I have no idea what happened.

Traffic has decreased from about 50 UVs a day to around 30. Its not deindexed so i don't think that Google sandboxed it.

I think its greyhat at worst... I dont think there's really a way for Google to track it either....

I sincerely hope that's not the issue id be really pissed if thats the reason, because on their website it directly says this:

"5. I am an SEO. Can I use The Link Juicer for my clients ?

Of course. We actively encourage it."

But I won't make any conclusions yet... =(

    It's entirely possible. Check this:

    Code:

    Alright thanks for that.

The only issue is that I just checked using http://www.seologs.com/dc-rank-check.html and my site is Not in Top 100 for ALL of the data centers..... shit.....

Crap, well I'll just hope and pray then.

I've been reading around and this has happened to other before and their site bounced back after a couple days. So I figure if mine doesn't bounce back in the next week I'm going to scrap it.

google could be punishing you for building links too fast. I went through this not too long ago, site dropped to page 10 for about 4 weeks.

    Good luck.

Sounds like sandbox maybe, ranking changes maybe. Only time will tell. I have heard relying on too many social bookmarking links can be dodgy too. A good mix of links is best. Carrying on building links will probably help too, but only build your best possible links.

Linkjuicer I have heard great things about but I would be very careful what you use for clients / white hat.

I would only use semi auto methods and macros if I was charging someone $$$. Its tricky. Also difficult to outsource if its a client you actually give a sh1t about.

    :)

Its probably Google Dance. I had one site that got de-indexed, but got back to the top 10 next day. Despite the de-index, I continued building quality backlinks and that site went back to top 10 next day. You might want to try building a few quality backlinks a day.

And Google Webmaster's datas are always lagging, if I'm not wrong, Google update the data once in every 24hours.

If you aren't deindexed than it is most likely a Google dance in rankings. Don't worry about it. Give it 3-4 weeks (sucks I know) and you should see results.

the same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. I read a thread here saying to create backlinks with different anchor texts. Did that for a couple days and now it is back. Give that a try.

I have also had success in using a different method for my homepage. It was originally indexed by google without the www. in the beginning of the domain. I created some backlinks with the www. in the anchor text. That domain was indexed and placed on the first page google within a few days. I guess google sees those as two different domains.
