From yesterday my 2 websites are not in top 1000 for any keyword.

Previously for nearly 90 keywords my website and its sub pages are in top 1-5.

I checked in my Google webmaster tool account, where i previously attached my website , but removed my website from January 2012. I found 2 warning messages on dtd 10 september and 12 september 2012. On those messages mentioned that they found unnatural link building and most probably buying backlinks, after remove of those backlinks, i can resubmit my website for reconsideration.

so now what i can do?

I need every bhw members suggestion and help on this matter.

Yesterday is a very dangerous day for me, my website gone and my paypal account get limited.

i build web 2.0, article, high pr forum profile, micro blog status updates, blog comment backlinks, private blog network backlinks, sidebar backlinks, guest post backlinks, press release backlinks, directory submission backlinks, social bookmarking backlinks etc..

I targeted a lot of inner page and main website for a lot of different keywords.

The bad ones: forum profile links, blog comments, sidebar links, directory links.

I don't understand why people submit to directories, once you do, google will be able to see that an artificial link has been built.

    Can't comment on the networks.

directory links i made nearly 2 years ago.
forum profile links also made before march month
blog comments links made before 9 months
sidebar links made 3 months ago

Recent in last 3 months, only web 2.0 blog posts, status updates, article , social bookmarking, wiki backlinks, press release backlinks made

Regarding private blog network, i used "seo lover" and flx89 private blog network , which is deindexed by google, i pm and emailed both to remove those blog posts.

First of all check the anchor diversity on Ahrefs. Secondly see how many forum profiles were really indexed. If most of them were not indexed then its quite certain that it did not trigger any penalty.

There's a decent chance it was the private blog network links that did you in. These are the links that can manipulate your position the most and they are most often paid links as well.

Bad news mate. If you want it 'back' remove all the cr*p - which sounds like all of it to be honest - none of it is going to be classed as 'natural' by Google.

There are no tricks that will get you out of it for more tan a couple of weeks - if that.

Start a new site along side the old one if you want to keep it in the hope of an expiration - but even if you got nabbed for 1 thing unnatural, you will have a set of eyes checking it out before you get a reconsideration request accepted - which the rest probably won't pass either.

I think it was the blog network as well. Easy for google to spot.

The other thing that may have flagged this site was the pure amount in relation to other sites in the niche, possibly. If all competitors have, say half as many, then it immediately looks suspicious.

This has got absolutely nothing to do with private blog network, balance the ratios of your anchor text going to your site and you should be fine.

The mistake people are doing is using their keyphrases as the majority of their link campaign- so bad.

Google is doing manual reviews and who knows how long the penalty will last for you. I tried removing bad links from one site, without submitting a reconsideration request, and its ranks have not improved. Therefore, removing backlinks will only help if you submit a reconsideration request afterwards as the penalty is applied to your site and not the backlinks it has. The penalty will expire at some point. Best to just continue building some good links to your site/adding content and focus on another project until the penalty expires. Good luck

It's true you shouldn't use your keywords too much, specially when doing this kind of link building, but blog networks are the ones responsible for the most severe penalties (such as this one).

I had one reputable site 4 years-old, many wikipedia listings, many natural links and I did a private network 'link push' with a few different keywords. That site is not ranking for any of them now.

Mrx, you forgot your url on the screenshot. Perhaps you want to remove it :)

    Home Page:
^^^^^^^^^^^^ A bit of good advice among most of the nonsense that this thread seems to have attracted.

Forum profiles and blog comments are absolutely fine in moderation. Where they are not fine is when you spam half a million of them.
Forums and blogs are where people interact with the web. Hell even if you don't make them, if your website is any good then other people will.

Directories are also ok. Not brilliant. The links have little or no authority, but as long as you use the correct categories and don't overdo them they will benefit you (like guestbooks).
Google is a directory - as is Yahoo, Bing etc. As for the link directories, just do those in your niche and do them properly.

But 99% chance your warning is from the private network and you anchor text variation (which is abysmal). More links again spread with better variation will help to dilute that.

SNL, BMR, Linxboss and others were all slapped, and if you have any links on those.......

Yes you can recover. It will take anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months if the reports of sites recovering from Aprils hit are an average.
The methods meople have taken seem pretty sound. Remove offending links, add content, link sensibly to content, diversify anchor text and platform, do not use private networks or paid links, add social noise - be patient.

Whether you submit a request for approval is up to you, it doesn't seem to matter one way or another. (seems like a placebo measure to me)

Sorry to hear about this.....however, recommend you follow Scritty's advise and also would recommend obtaining 2 replacement aged domains from Godaddy auctions (or if you have backup already) and build new replacements. Its much easier to rank a new site these days than to recover a penalized site.
