    Google dance?

Did you have a bunch of links from article directories? I've heard that many of those sites got downgraded by Big G, so the value that they were adding for their links was dropped also, thus causing many sites to drop down with the reduced value of the links...

check if someone is blasting your website to bad web pages, porn or something

and yes its true , many of the article and RSS submit directories are downgraded by Google alot

I was getting steady traffic 1000+ to one of my blogs and after doing a Power submitter and Rss submit , its on the 2nd 3 rd pages now, some even far.

    :why:

Same for me, happened a few days ago for my main site which contains unique contents. I am at a loss also as to what happened. Trying all sorts of ways of get the site out but to no avail.

Even the search term for my main domain name returns a page 6!

how long were you on the first page for... this way we can rule if it is some penalty or a natural dance.

me too, but not that extreme. I lost rank from #1 to #4 (and another keyword from #1 to #17). Basically i've done a lot, from link wheel, link push, private blog networks (BMR, linkvana, ezarticlelink), xrumer and SB blasts to tier 2 sites, AMR, and so on.

I have no excessive link building but after adding affiliate link to the blog. It went from #7 to 700+. WTF

going from #7 to 700+ means it's being sandboxed. I have several sites that are now ranked outside top 100 too (they were in page 1).

My case, and OP case, i think is a bit different from yours. especially mine since I am still in page 1-2, but the rankings dropped quite a lot :(

Google made an algorythm update. I would show you a link but i am still not allowed to post links. so just google for "Google Panda" and read some articles. Does this help?

this is the news anyway when you search for "google panda", apparently this 2.1 update was done a week ago, which clearly affected my SERPs :(

one of my another site also has been hit by this may update, I was #9 and now i am #23. :(

Seems google has been hitting link wheels/link pushes and the likes?? I dont know man but my competitors seem like using simpler techniques and they are favored by Google...

While my techniques are more complex but seems Google discount links from web 2.0 pages nowadays
