    Hi,

My personal website iprimewire.net has been reported as malware suspicious website by google to stopbadware. I have checked with my hosting company and removed the files which seem to be the problematic. However even tough I have requested for a review, I still get Google?s warning page. Here is the list of the files that are listed as problematic:

    iprimewire.net/watch-big-brother-season-16-episode-1-online
    iprimewire.net/watch-brick-mansions-2014-online
    iprimewire.net/watch-bright-days-ahead-2013-online
    iprimewire.net/watch-calvary-2014-online
    iprimewire.net/watch-chasing-life-season-1-episode-7-online
    iprimewire.net/watch-deliver-us-from-evil-2014-online
    iprimewire.net/watch-extant-season-1-episode-1-online
    iprimewire.net/watch-gang-related-season-1-episode-7-online
    iprimewire.net/watch-halt-and-catch-fire-season-1-episode-6-online
    iprimewire.net/watch-honour-2014-online

    P.S. I am using a wordpress blog

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

The obvious course of action here would be to find the malware code and remove it, then request a review.

If you have already removed the malware, you have to wait for Google to recrawl your whole site. After they do and find out that your website is now malware-free, they will remove the warning.

To expedite the process, sign into webmaster tools, click health >> malware >> request review so that Google will visit your site to confirm that the site is now safe for users. It takes one day after requesting a review for the warning page to disappear.

Let's not forget thinking about how the malware got there in the first place. What is the point of cleaning a site if you don't know the back door/hack used to place the malware in the first place? Did you buy the site or build it? If you built it, at least you know what you have done.

You need to find the back door/hack first, fix that then fix the malware. Some ideas for you:

A very common problem is to use cracked themes that contain backdoors. If you know what you are doing you can search for base64 code, which is usually a sign that that your site has been hacked.

You can scan a site at security at
    Code:
    https://sucuri.net/
Sometimes the scan will tell you what you the site is infected with, and you can google that and figure out how to fix it.

If this is cPanel, and shared hosting, sometimes your host will help. If this is a VPS, on Linux, use ClamAV to scan the whole installation.

    WORDPRESS SPOTTED!

Switch themes... and get re-indexed often times you probably downloaded a free theme with a virus in it.
