After some link building techniques using Senuke x and other some blackhat tools I was able to make my page in first page of Google USA for a particular keyword. The page also shows in first page of all other Google search except Google India for that keyword. Since my keyword is mostly used by Indians majority of the users search the keyword in Google India. Also Google USA automatically redirects to Google India in my country. So I am losing about 95% of search results. I think this is a strange problem and I will be helpful if anybody finds me a good way to escape from this strange problem.

    Hi mate,

Just go to the G webmaster tools, and change your target country to ' India'. Then give to G some time to update the changes. This probably will help you. Also keep building links :)

    Cheers

    Hi Petko,
Thanks for your reply. Actually my blog is about gadgets. If I make India has target country, I will lose majority of searches to other pages of my blog from other countries which I am already getting.

Well, the other option is to build links from Indian websites (Indian domain and hosting) in order to rank better in G India. Maybe someone else here which is deeper in SEO could give you better advice. Best of luck with your site.

    Petko,
Thanks for your info. Actually my page is showing in first page of all other Google search engines except Google India. Google India is not even showing this page in first 20 pages for my keyword.

Wow, my biggest problem is lots of traffic coming from India and not from US/CA.

In USA and alexa USA and everything about USA.
The problem is that all of my offers need a CC so indian traffic is useless here.

You should use some backlinks from indian domains as well as change the country in webmaster tools.

    Hi,

Google is doing some research for past 2 weeks. During this time. USA Rank and Other Rank is totally different. Kindly check on Google Canada , Google UK and make some conclusion why you site is not ranking in india. As everybody said change target country. One more suggestion, Put some contact things in your blog with Indian address. This things works for me.

It's because you aren't getting enough backlinks from local indian websites, and you also should host on the indian extension.

You page do not rank on Google India because it has more competition. Just built the quality back link . and wait for updates.

I agree that contact address would be a good option. I think this method works for every country.

You don't need to change anything in WMT at all. I do a lot of business in India with a .com.au thats targeting Australia in WMT. I rank the same site well in all the G's (except Japan for some reason).

I'm pretty sure that G india took me alot longer than the rest, but it came without any special effort.

I rank for Google.co.in and not in Google.com

Anyhow, try using Google Places as an advantage :)

i will suggest open Google webmaster tool and go to region section and select target county India (Targeting site content to a specific country) and here also add your site sitemap.

    To set a geographic target:

On the Webmaster Tools Home page, click the site you want.
    Under Site configuration, click Settings.
In the Geographic target section, select the option you want.

If you want to ensure that your site is not associated with any country or region, select Unlisted.
