So I've seen how people make their own services here and I too have decided to give it a go.
I sometimes need to get a link out there fast, get some feedback or perspective. Twitter is the place to go for me in these cases, but I only have 5k active followers with a 100 of them actually being helpful when needed. To get more feedback I usually rely on my mailing list of people who'd tweet your message if you tweet something back. I've put it together a while ago and it does its job. This list, however, requires constant revisiting and I got tired of it after a while. My idea was to create an open, self-moderated list of tweets people are wanting to get out there and invite people to tweet them. You "tweet the tweet" and get "seeds" (yes, I know). You can then exchange these seeds for tweets of your message and so on.
Here's what I've got so far: 29.lv
Right now you can create a campaign and set a fixed "price" for each tweet. For the next update I'm planing to integrate Klout and allow limiting tweet availability for users with Klout above certain numbers or base the price of the tweet on user's Klout score. Ideally I'd like to give users an option to sell their seeds back to me, but PayPal isn't too happy about this idea for several reasons. If they green-light me - I'll definitely put that in.
What do you think?
Is it useful?
Would you use it?
What can I change or add?
