My Twitter got locked.

Hey guys, I have this account got 100k followers. I did some follow/unfollow activity but suddenly my account got locked. What should i do to retrieve my account?

You can submit a petition to have the account unlocked.But they get so many requests and when they hand down a manual suspension for churn & burn they're unlikely to forgive it.

What you should try first is log out of your account.

Switch your IP to a public proxy, log back in. Twitter will think the account is compromised and 'suspend' the account.This isn't as scary as it sounds.

Get off your public proxy, clear your cookies or switch browser and try logging in with the normal account, if you have phone verification set up it will ask you to verify your login now. If you don't have phone verification, it will ask you to verify with a phone number.

Do this and once completed, there's a chance your account will be fully unlocked - including any previous suspensions. You can always submit a petition if it didn't work and this time claim that someone accessed your account and that you managed to regain access.

I've managed to restore about 2 accounts, but doesn't always work.
