So I've got another journey going, for anyone who hasn't read it - things are looking good there, so I'm jumping ahead a bit and digging into something that REALLY interests me...passive income. Some people may complain but I'm doing this as an experiment, if you will - I'm spending no money (at least for now), and I want to see how far I can take it. My goal is $75 per day, but more of course is good. I've done EXTENSIVE research on keywords over the past few weeks...possibly months actually, and I've landed a few mega bombs, so what the heck - I'm digging in now before someone else finds these keywords Again, I'm not spending any money (I don't have any to spend, and I'm interested to see how this plays out.) - So I'm using Blogger/Blogspot. I've got my blog set up, tweaked my theme to my liking, I've applied for Adsense, and I've got one article written and posted. I'm going to shoot for a few short articles per day as I get free time. I can crank out 500 word chunks in minutes, so it's not that bad. I'm going to sprinkle my keywords throughout my articles just enough, and I'm going to just keep building it up for awhile. I may tie my Amazon Associates account into it, I can easily post up a few relevant Amazon products on the blog - thatll be a double whammy. I'm not going to worry about backlinks - I don't know how I feel about those. If I remember, Google said they don't matter, but...what's wrong with throwing a few out there? I'll get to that bridge when I get to it. I will be throwing out posts and links in a few places - Google Plus, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest. I'll make sure Google, Yahoo, and Bing see my blog as well. That's my game plan so far - create quality content, lovingly sauteed in keyword sauce, and mild advertisement through the social sites. I have a good feeling - I will say this, I created the blog late last night, and within 24 hours it already had 53 visits - I didn't have any content up yet, aside from my keyword here and there (in the domain and on a test page) - and only 2 visits were mine.
