    Folks,

After being a lurker for the longest time I've finally decided to tell you about my (simple) story. I believe this is my first post here!

I'm 23, but have been active on the internet only since I was 19. I started making money online with a very crappy writing gig which paid $3 per 300 word post. Looking back, it was the best thing that could've happened to me back then (which is ironic because I think it was a crappy gig). Nonetheless, the gig made me believe there was indeed money to be made off of the the internet.

Soon after I landed a much better writing gig. Better in the sense that the blog was WAY more open to my ideas which made me comfortable writing for them. This gig paid me $5 per article... with time, I went on to become a prominent member of the team. I wish I owned the blog because I'm WAY more enthusiastic than the person who does, and he seems to be content with whatever he's getting out of the blog (and I can tell for a fact that given a chance to head operations, I can double or even triple income).

Nonetheless, it's fun writing there. I'm drawing a fixed $1000 per month from the blog now with work worth an hour or two per day, five days a week.

I also own a blog that is starting to do well with around 2500 visits per day. It isn't anything great clearly, but the niche of the blog is such that almost all of the 2500 people that land up on the site are folks who have dispensable cash to spend online (and are looking to do so), so affiliate as well as AdSense revenues aren't insignificant despite the low traffic. That said, besides earning me around $3000 per month, the blog also gives me a lot of satisfaction because it was something that I started out of passion (there was no need for money as such).

TLDR: I'm making $4,000-5,000 per month roughly, which is enough to sustain my lifestyle for now (and nothing compared to what some other IM's are making here)... but not my hunger. It isn't the hunger for money, but the hunger to succeed even further!

I'll be doing a lot of reading on BHW in the coming weeks (speaking of, thanks to the members who've been posting their methods here) and will hopefully have a passive income source by the end of next month. Meanwhile, if you know of a method that sounds suitable for someone like me (who's only been into White Hat stuff in his life) please comment below with the links.

Cheers folks, have a happy 2016! You'll be seeing a lot of me around :)

Maybe it is... but don't know why there's this urge to get to my $100k target this year! Thanks and wish you the same!

    Good luck OP!
I just don't understand why you want to start black hat, it's short-term, unreliable and stuff.
And you already have success with WH, So I suggest building authority site and working on that :)

Like I said, it's the passion for internet marketing maybe. Also the current gigs of mine don't take a lot of time so I am left with some for more. Nothing to lose :)

A $40-50/day setup is what I'm looking at, hope it is interesting enough to post about. :)
