this is usual..there is a saying "dont fix unless its broke".. same thing happened with me lately..but came back on top after 3 months "8 million" exact competition... run your site through ibp ..see if there is any onpage errors...check for dead/broken links..correct all..and keep building links regularly..
i almost gave up after 3 months but it came back just on time... dont loose hopes if its worth it...good luck

Changing your home page title is always a no-no unless you really need to. That could be the reason.

You can change it, it's just if you completely change the keywords you're targeting expect a drop for those keywords.

I modify my homepage title from time to time with very little effect but it's usually adding or tweaking a word or two for conversions.

OP: You may be dancing from the backlinks and title change. Anytime you start adding backlinks expect to bounce around a little. Like I mentioned above about the title, if you changed your keywords expect it to take a little while to re-rank.

Contact Google about what? They have not deinxed you they put your site at the position they want. You cannot demand a good ranking.

its panda acting up big time. Wait it out and see what happens. If you are building links, just keep at it. Don't make changes because google is waiting to see if you react. Those who react are trying to game the system according to Google. So just leave your site alone if it's already optimized, keep building links and pray to your God if you have one.
